Hearing aid users will make substantial savings by booking their regular repeat earwax removal with us, making it easy to maintain clear sound and avoid costly repairs. We offer these discounts to support hearing aid users facing rising private ear health care costs without NHS funding provided in Mid & South Essex and Suffolk & North East Essex.

At Clear Ear Cheer we understand that hearing aid users face rising costs without NHS-funded ear care in Mid & South Essex and Suffolk & North East Essex. Our supportive pricing is designed to make professional ear health care genuinely affordable for those who need it most — with transparent rates, no hidden charges, and a loyalty reward for returning clients.
A £10 deposit secures your appointment slot and is deducted from your final balance on the day. Any additional services discussed and agreed during your appointment will be charged separately with your full informed consent.
Your Hearing Aid Care Visit
Hearing Aid Cleaning & Maintenance
A dedicated 60 minute visit covering both hearing aids as standard. Jon comes to you — at home, in a care facility, or at your workplace.
Your visit includes:
- Full ear health check with HD video otoscopy — both ears
- Complete clean and service of both devices
- Debris removal, tubing inspection and filter replacement where needed
- Battery and function check
- Aftercare advice and clinical record
💛 Additional services available during your appointment — even if not pre-scheduled:
- Ear wax removal — £20 per ear (charged separately with your consent)
- Ear impressions — £35 per ear (charged separately with your consent)
These discounted add-on rates apply only when completed during the same appointment.
Loyalty Reward After 3 Visits
Returning Client Discount
After your third visit, your hearing aid maintenance appointment drops to £58 — a thank you for your loyalty and continued trust in Clear Ear Cheer.
Add-on rates for wax removal and ear impressions remain the same — £20/ear and £35/ear respectively.
Standalone Earwax Removal
Earwax Removal — Hearing Aid User Rate
Your £40 consultation includes the ear health check with HD video otoscopy and first ear treatment as standard. As a hearing aid user, the second ear surcharge is reduced from £25 to just £15.
Your appointment includes:
- Full clinical consultation
- HD video otoscopy — both ears
- First ear wax removal included in consultation fee
- Second ear surcharge: £15 (standard rate £25)
- Choice of microsuction, irrigation or manual removal
- Aftercare advice and clinical record
💛 Combine with hearing aid maintenance during the same visit for even better value:
- Wax removal add-on during maintenance appointment — £20 per ear
The £20/ear add-on rate applies only when combined with a hearing aid maintenance appointment.
Standalone Ear Impressions
Ear Impressions — Hearing Aid User Rate
Precise custom ear impressions taken at your home, care facility or workplace. Saving £9 on one ear and £14 on both ears compared to our standard rate.
Your appointment includes:
- Full clinical consultation
- HD video otoscopy ear examination
- Professional ear impressions in medical-grade silicone
- Sent to trusted UK manufacturer — typically 2–3 weeks delivery
- Impressions suitable for hearing aid moulds, swim plugs and noise protection
💛 Combine with hearing aid maintenance during the same visit for even better value:
- Ear impressions add-on during maintenance appointment — £35 per ear
The £35/ear add-on rate applies only when combined with a hearing aid maintenance appointment.
Transparent Parts & Travel Policy
Parts & Consumables Policy
We believe in complete transparency regarding the cost of maintenance materials.
- Routine Consumable Parts: High-quality batteries and wax filters will be fitted at no additional labour charge during your maintenance appointment; however, the cost of the part itself will be charged at cost on the day of the appointment.
- Specialised Parts: Higher-cost items, such as domes, tubing, or ear moulds, will be quoted separately before fitting.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We value your time and will have reserved an appointment slot specifically for you. We kindly ask for your consideration of our cancellation policy, as it allows us to serve all our clients efficiently.
We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled time may result in the forfeiture of your £10 deposit.
