Ear Impressions & Custom Ear Mold’s For Hearing Aid Users
Why Choose Custom Hearing Aid Moulds?
For anyone with hearing loss, especially seniors,
Hearing aids are a big help.
But did you know that custom moulds can make them even better?
Let’s look at why custom moulds beat generic ones.
Better Comfort
Custom moulds are made just for your ears. This means they fit perfectly, so they don’t slip or feel uncomfortable. Generic moulds, made for everyone, can feel loose or pinch after a while.
Clearer Sound
With a custom mould, sound comes through loud and clear because it seals your ear well. Generic moulds might let in extra noise or muffle sounds, making it harder to hear.
Longer Use
Custom moulds last longer because they’re built for you. Generic ones may wear out faster or require replacement sooner.
Performance Comparison:
Generic Mold: About 50% comfort, 70% clarity.
Custom Mold: About 70% comfort, 90% clarity.

You will need professional ear impressions taken first before you can order any custom hearing protection or hearing aid earmolds. These are taken on-site or at your home, and a medical-grade silicone is used. Your impression-taking appointment also includes ear health checks and a consultation. You can then use the carefully produced impressions to create custom-made hearing aid moulds for your hearing aids or any other type of ear protection. Once you have possession of up-to-date ear impressions, you can then submit these to an ear mould supplier or manufacturer to have your custom moulds produced. Most suppliers/manufacturers will return these ear impressions to you along with your earmold order once it’s been completed. We have established links with manufacturers and can handle this part of the process for you, too, once we determine the most suitable ear mould for your requirements.
